The team in Guinea is driven by a passion to make a difference and serve those who are in need. As we continue to expand our operations, we are looking for a dynamic and committed individual to join the Guinea programme as the Deputy Country Director.

Responsibilities

You will lead and support the coordination of programme departments, ensuring activities align with MAF’s values and priorities. In this key role, you’ll oversee budgets, operational efficiency, and compliance, while fostering a positive team culture and supporting staff wellbeing.

Responsibilities include managing HR, logistics, facilities, and aviation operations, providing strategic planning and budgeting assistance, and representing the Programme Director when needed.

With a focus on resource stewardship and team empowerment, this role is vital in driving impactful operations and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. Be part of a mission-focused team delivering excellence and care.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

Essential: 

• Graduate or equivalent experience
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Aptitude in verbal, numerical and abstract reasoning
• Experience of living and working in a developing country
