You've run a business back home, and over the years you've slowly absorbed best practices that help businesses run smoothly and thrive in a variety of settings. You learned to navigate the waters of writing proposals, creating business plans, registering a business, finding the right employees, setting up shop, and running your business day to day. Did you know that these very skills could help further God's Kingdom?
In many parts of East Asia, missionaries are setting up real and legitimate businesses that give them a meaningful role in communities that don't yet know Jesus. Through these businesses missionaries gain a more acceptable presence in their communities and are able to develop genuine relationships with customers, service providers, and neighbors. Unfortunately, many missionaries find it extremely difficult to enter the business world. They're well prepared for cross-cultural mission, but they really struggle to start a business. Come join OMF International in Mongolia and put your business skills to work for God's Kingdom. Help setup a cheese making factory that taps into Mongolia's significant dairy resources. And while you do so, partner with the Mongolian church in sharing Jesus with your new contacts.
Come join OMF International and put your skills in the dairy business to work by starting Mongolia's first export quality cheese factory! Join us as we partner with the Mongolian Church to share Jesus across this vast land.
You'll be living in Mongolia, a land with harsh winters, gorgeous summers, steppes, plains, deserts, mountains, forests, and towns that still have a Russian feel. This land has seen rapid development in its less than 30 years of post-Communist Democracy. While most of the countryside is sparsely populated, the capital city of Ulaanbaatar now has office towers, high-end designer stores, and more than one international school. The greatest development here though has been the church. In 1990 there were only four known believers in the entire country. Today the Mongolian Church at least 40,000 people and has become an emerging mission-sending movement. In Mongolia OMF International works through a Christian relief and development organization.
You'll be living in a small town with occasional utility lapses. Mobile phone and wireless internet are available here. Educational options for your children would include home-schooling, national school, or Christian boarding school in another country.
