For over 70 years, MAF has been transporting patients, relief workers, produce and medical supplies to the world’s remotest regions and places of deepest human need – places where flying is not a luxury but a lifeline.
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Aircraft/Sign Painter Maintenance Assistant in our facility at Mareeba, in far northern Queensland, Australia. Many of our aircraft from Asia Pacific come to Mareeba for repair and maintenance. You will be part of an amazing team keeping our aircraft in top condition to return to flying in the most remote places in the world.
This role is a 9 month short term role and we are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.
To provide trade assistance to Mareeba Aviation Services

Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Current right to work in Australia
Secondary School completion certificate
Completion of approved aircraft maintenance engineer pre-employment course
ICAO Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence without type rating
National Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence, as required
Aircraft and engine type courses, as appropriate
