Do you have a heart for walking alongside young people and helping them grow in faith and purpose? This short-term opportunity allows you to serve in rural villages around Siem Reap, encouraging, evangelising, and discipling Cambodian youth who often lack mentors and spiritual guidance.
As a Youth Worker, you’ll build relationships through everyday life, creative activities, and intentional conversations. You’ll help young people discover their identity in Christ, grow in character, and learn to follow Jesus in their own cultural context.
This role is ideal for someone who is relational, energetic, and passionate about youth ministry, even without formal qualifications.
In this role you will:
• Build relationships with youth through regular visits and activities
• Share the gospel in culturally sensitive and age-appropriate ways
• Disciple spiritually open youth through Bible study and prayer
• Encourage youth in their personal growth, education, and faith
• Organize small group gatherings, games, and outreach events
• Collaborate with local churches and ministry teams
• Support long-term workers and learn from their experience
Cambodian youth in rural areas often face challenges such as poverty, limited education, and spiritual isolation. This ministry is a strategic opportunity to invest in their lives, offering hope, friendship, and the truth of the gospel.
Requirements:
• Some experience in youth work, mentoring, or discipleship is helpful
• B1 CEFR English proficiency or higher
• A heart for cross-cultural ministry and youth
