Nurse-Midwife

As a nurse-midwife you would work alongside our locally trained Gambian midwives in a clinic in Sibanor. There would be opportunities to be involved in teaching.

You may also be required to help out in outpatients, on the ward, on the CARE (HIV) side, in the dressing room, in the waiting hall, in the NCD clinic or managing the clinic stores, and administrative roles. 

Qualifications: A qualified midwife with at least one year’s experience. Experience of work in a remote setting or without medical support would be helpful. Flexibility and a willingness to try new things is essential.
