Evangelism and Discipleship Training in Cambodi

Do you long to see Cambodian believers confidently sharing the gospel and discipling others in their communities? This is a strategic opportunity to train, equip, and mobilise local Christians for evangelism and discipleship using orality-based tools and Spirit-led practices.

As an Evangelism and Discipleship Trainer, you’ll form small discipleship groups across Cambodia, teaching believers how to share the gospel through Bible storying, personal testimonies, Shema statements, and the Discovery Bible Method. You’ll encourage prayer for non-believers, healing, and spiritual breakthrough, helping each believer grow in boldness and dependence on the Holy Spirit.

Each group will meet regularly to study the Bible, set personal outreach goals, and hold one another accountable in a grace-filled, encouraging environment.

In this role you will:
• Form and lead small discipleship groups focused on outreach and spiritual growth
• Train Cambodian believers in orality tools: Bible storying, testimonies, Shema statements, Discovery Bible Method
• Encourage prayer for non-believers, healing, and spiritual breakthrough
• Facilitate goal-setting and accountability in each group, led by the Holy Spirit’s guidance
• Develop contextualized training materials and tools
• Mentor emerging leaders to multiply the ministry
• Collaborate with churches and ministry teams across Cambodia

Cambodian believers are eager to grow in their faith and share the gospel, but many lack tools, confidence, and support. This role is a strategic opportunity to equip them with simple, powerful methods rooted in Scripture and guided by the Holy Spirit. You’ll help spark a movement of everyday evangelists and disciple-makers across the country.

Requirements:
Experience in discipleship, evangelism, or leadership development
• At least 1 year of Biblical or Theological training
• B1 CEFR English proficiency or higher
• A heart for empowering local believers and multiplying ministry
• Willingness to learn Khmer and engage deeply with Cambodian culture
• Strong relational and communication skills
• Spirit-led, flexible, and passionate about seeing lives transformed
