Top Digital Threats to Mission
Join Andy Scott from Covenant Cyber Defence for a powerful webinar on the Top Digital Threats to Mission.
In this session, we’ll explore two critical areas:
First, we'll explore the unique dangers workers face in challenging regions, focusing on personal digital security risks, AI and protecting sensitive information.
Second, we will look at the emerging threats to mission organisations as targeted businesses for cyber attacks. Here, we will present some of the current challenges and some solutions to protecting devices, emails, data, and communications within the organisation.
Learn about the latest digital threats to the mission and equip yourself, your team and your organisation with real solutions to protect your work and advance the gospel.
Guest Speaker: Andy Scott, Founder and Training Director of Secwise International; MI Trainer for the MI Online Security Course.
After years in the IT industry — including roles in both the private sector and government — Andy developed a strong understanding of the need for strong device security. In 2015, he and his family began living and working internationally, which gave him firsthand experience of the digital risks faced by those serving in cross-cultural and high-risk environments.
This led to the creation of SecWise International — a training initiative designed to help individuals and organisations strengthen their digital privacy and security. SecWise provided essential knowledge on device hardening, secure apps, anonymous communication and privacy best practices, equipping people to protect themselves in a rapidly changing digital world.
As the need for broader, professional-level security services became clear, Andy launched Covenant Defence. Based in Ballarat, Covenant Defence now delivers enterprise-grade protection for small businesses, NGOs, churches and missionaries. From securing laptops and mobile devices to protecting email and network infrastructure, Covenant Defence provides trusted solutions that help clients operate safely and confidently — whether in Australia or abroad.
