Role: Use veterinary skills to serve Chad Nomads alongside workers who know the language. Applicants will be expected to learn some basic Chadian Arabic before arrival - CD provided. They will be part of the WEC team in Abeche and be an integral part of that team with the goal of planting a mature expanding church among the Eastern peoples of Chad.
Qualifications: Trained livestock veterinarian (camels, horses, cattle, sheep, goats and donkeys). Have a passion for Jesus. It would be helpful to have some French or Arabic. A willingness to learn, adapt to a new culture and to travel frequently is essential. Flexibility and resourcefulness in working with little resources to hand. Cross cultural training will be provided before departure.
Time commitment: Two months.
