Job Description
Help us tell the stories of disadvantanged peoples. With a love for the local people and a commitment to professional excellence, we seek to provide holistic care to those we serve with the hope that they, in turn, be enabled to help others.
Spend a month visiting our sites, observing our projects, and getting to know our workers. Help us capture their hearts and work in pictures and stories. We want to invite others with a variety of training and skills to join our work. The photographs and stories will be used in promotional materials, prayer guides, newsletters and mobilization resources.
You will experience East Asia's big cities and small towns. Traveling by plane, train, bus and van, you will sleep in a variety of places. You will meet many wonderful people. You will be exposed to many different people.
Responsibilities
- Taking photographs and video.
- Interviewing workers and local people.
- Taking notes and writing stories.
- Editing and sharing the collection with our personnel.
Qualifications
- Skill in photographing people and activities.
- Experience writing human interest stories.
- Enjoyment of travel.
Living Situations
Flexibility is key for this job. You would need to adapt to the work schedule of the various people you visit. Living conditions will vary depending on whether you are in a city or rural site. Please bring your own equipment and be ready for an adventure!
Summer is the ideal time to come. Travel is easier and you will be able to capture some of our short-term teams in action.
