Each new family coming to work with OMF Thailand spend their first year in Lopburi at the Daniel Training Centre where they take part in a language and culture training program. In order to assist these families we provide childcare each morning for under 5's. We are looking for people who want to help with the childcare program working with Thai childcare workers under the supervision of the Daniel Training Team supporting these families as they adapt to life and ministry in Thailand.
Childcare at Kidszone (children between 0-5 years) 7:30-12:45 am Tuesday to Saturday and planning kids activities and assisting our Thai childcare workers?br>Special projects like organizing kids program during retreats/field trips
Supporting families in other ways as necessary
Being part of the wider Daniel Training community in Lopburi
A genuine love for children and a desire to care for them and their parents.
Previous experience working with children is desirable.
Organized but flexible, patient and approachable with a good sense of humour.
Able to communicate well in English. Fluency in other languages is an asset (but not essential) as families come from all over the world (eg.. German, Dutch, Cantonese, Korean).
Previous cross-cultural experience would be beneficial but is not necessary.
Must be in good health and physically active.
Budget of 600 Thai Baht per day (this includes food and accommodation).
Workers must provide for their own airfare, and also cover their own transportation costs and personal spending money.?br>Health and accident insurance are the responsibility of the worker.
