Community Engagement Coordinator

Are you a people-person who loves to gather with and create community, while empowering people to be active and engaged supporters of God’s global mission?

Do you have experience working in supporter engagement? Are you highly organised and love working across teams to facilitate exciting events? Do you enjoy planning and delivering fundraising projects? We’re looking for someone who can join our team to lead our supporter engagement and foster community across our organisation through engaging with events, prayer, churches, fundraising and more. Could this be you?

You will have:

• A contagious passion for cross-cultural ministry in Australia and across Asia and the Arab world.
• Strong people skills and ability to communicate well to a wide range of stakeholders through public speaking, phone and email.
• Experience in coordinating events (virtual & in-person), implementing fundraising initiatives and managing supporter relationships.
• Demonstrated relationship management skills through use of customer relationship management (CRM) software, especially Salesforce.
• Initiative to work independently and identify and implement creative strategies to foster community and active participation in the work of Interserve Australia
• A willingness to work outside of normal work hours and undertake occasional interstate travel.

This role is a part-time (0.6 FTE) 12-month salaried contract commencing in September based in Sydney or Melbourne with flexible working arrangements.
